Jeremey Phoenix Lizama was born on July 1st 1997, with music running through his veins. Starting at a young age He bagh to find his rhythm with the snare drums in his middle school band. However, PHYNXXX quickly learned that he was never meant to follow the beat of others. Moving away on his own at a young age, PHYNXXX carved not only his own path, but a new one. While suffering adversities and new found challenges PHYNXXX clung to music as his outlet.

PHYNXXX finally picked up a guitar, and with the new instrument he taught himself how to create his own music. He learned how to give himself his own voice. PHYNXXX wrote and produced his first song, and with the help of his brother shared his own song for the first time on Soundcloud. The song titled “Nrmally” told the story of life during covid, and the loneliness PHYNXXX was feeling while missing his friends and normal day to day life. In the first couple of months the song connected with new audiences and was streamed over 2,000 times.

PHYNXXX began to perfect his craft. He brings together different genres and uses his experiences to tell his stories and connect with others. PHYNXXX has his own style which he calls ‘Gumption’ style, it has a little bit of everything you need. He is mostly inspired by his reggae roots, but he is constantly playing with his personal sound. His music is Jazzy and funky. No one can deny the soul that shines through his music.

PHYNXXX finished his debut album that incorporates styles that may have been forgotten or just missed. His main goal is being able to bring those old school Caribbean vibes mixed with some soul and sweet reggae music. This is an album of healing. Creating new styles that feel familiar while taking you back to memories you just can't let go of is a major theme of this album.

PHYNXXX then performed his debut album at Recino's Good Stays in Belize! His performance was on point, grooving the poolside audience with his rhythmic riddims and infectious performance. His debut, album release party was a raving success!

While PHYNXXX is a singular artist, he uses his talent to connect with anyone willing to listen. While his talent is harnessed in his music, his passions are in connection. He is all about everyone uniting and being able to enjoy the time they have right in front of them. Being able to get everyone on the same plane while vibing away to some sweet reggae music, or some soulful music that just calms the spirits. Nothing but good vibes, all sharing the same fire to light up. PHYNXXX creates music for people to feel free and welcomed while being comfortable in their own right.

Straight from his debut album, the video for the song "Badman" was released to much acclaim. The video was shot in San Ignacio /Cayo and San Pedro /Ambergris Caye.... all in Belize!

PHYNXXX competed in this year's Coast 2 Coast Live competition and placed 2nd!
